Auto salvage yards buy end-of-life vehicles, dismantle them and sell working used parts at a fraction of new-part prices. Many also pay cash for junk cars, with or without a title, and offer free towing.
What is a u-pull-it yard?
A self-service yard: you bring your own tools, pull the part yourself and pay a flat low price. Cheapest way to get common parts for older vehicles.
How much do junkyards pay for cars?
Typically $100–$500 for a complete vehicle depending on weight, current scrap metal prices and whether the model is in demand for parts. Trucks and SUVs usually fetch more.
